Resource Description

How is the weather? by Jeanette Vuuren is a great teaching resource well-aligned to Common Core State Standards and includes core literacy and science skills aimed at year 1 students.

It includes a table chart with the days of the week, months, numbers symbols from 1-31, number names to write these numbers, adjectives to use in conjunction with weather conditions, weather symbols for the different basic weather conditions as well as an example sentence for students to record the daily weather.

The booklet that consists of 66 pages includes;
weather sentences with weather symbols as well as photos of the different weather conditions
a template with sentences to record the date and weather daily
a template with sentences to record the date and weather in past, present and future tense
a calendar and picture graph with questions and answers
