Grade 1 English Home Language Phonics Book 2

Book consist of 38 + 17 pages, covering the vowels u and e as well as the consonants k, r, b, f, l, h, w, j, w, v, y, x, z and q. Two pages per phonic. Includes handwriting exercises of small and capital letter of the sound, sound recognition, circle pictures beginning with the sound as well as recognizing the sound at the beginning, end or middle of a word by saying the name of a picture. Also, five pages of word families of the sounds learned. The whole book is set according to CAPS and cover the second term. The last part of the book, 17 pages, are for the teacher. Short guidelines as well as answers to the questions in the book. Book 3 in this series covers revision of word families, the building of three letter words, consonant blends and five common consonant digraphs at the beginning of words as set in CAPS for the third term.
